In order to ensure that its fuel reaches the right place and in right quantities Paz Energy is using RFID seals for tracking opening and closing of fuel valves when it’s delivered to the filling stations.

The secured valves are expected to prevent fuel thefts and improve upon the fuel delivery process.

Active RFID tags are being used and whenever the valves are opened or closed a signal is transmitted by the RFID tags which is picked up interrogator in the cab of the truck.

This would now enable the managers at the command center to see which type of fuel is being pumped and for how long in order to arrive at the quantity of fuel being delivered to the station.
