RFID implementation in the food sector is expected to leave all other sectors way behind.

As per a recent report of IDTechEx:

In due course, the tagging of individual items will attract the most investment, benefiting all in the supply chain but tagging of conveyances, pallets, cases, vehicles and equipment will also be important.

A number of companies have already started concentrating towards this sector sensing that it will offer a lot of opportunities in the time to come.
