Includes the Boeing X-45C and Northrop-Grumman's X-47B Pegasus
The Neuron project joins Britain’s Taranis UCAV, and the USA’s sort-of-cancelled J/N-UCAS program that includes the Boeing X-45C and Northrop-Grumman’s X-47B Pegasus as UCAV’s with fighter-substitution potential.
As a UCAV, Neuron will be significantly larger and more advanced than other well-known UAV systems like the MQ-1/RQ-1 Predator UAV, with payloads and capabilities that begin to approach manned fighter aircraft.
