Safety Light Curtains and Multiple Light Beam Safety Devices
Rapid market changes require flexible production line adjustments. This demands long-life safety sensor technology that is versatile in its application. The leuze electronic Safety Light Curtains of the SOLID-4E series meet these requirements and therefore ensure investment security.
Protected by a warp-resistant, form-holding profile housing closed on four sides and its uncomplicated M12 connection technology, they withstand even the toughest industrial conditions. Versatile mounting options enable for fast installation times and able to accommodate easy changeovers.
The aim of the COMPACTplus range is to live up to any future expectations in terms of top functionality, flexible integration and ease of operation. As an extension of the tried and tested COMPACT range, COMPACTplus incorporates as a bonus a number of additional fully integrated functions, such as for example a startup/restart interlock, electronic device monitoring and blanking. The various interface options that are available make it possible to connect the system at will either to conventional safety components or to safety bus systems.
Interface Options
COMPACTplus-m with muting function package for bridging the safety device for a limited period, with, for example, proper material transport through the protective field.
COMPACTplus-b with additional blanking functions (fixed and/or floating) plus reduced resolution of the protective field.
COMPACTplus-i with initiation functions to not only protect with the safety device, but rather to also provide safety-related control of the production machine.
