Words and images come together to create a recognizable face for our brand.

The taktik(z) logo is the most visible expression of our brand. It is a unique symbol of our brand. It is a unique symbol that represents our talents, skills, and leadership. The symbol is a visual metaphor for “reflecting the clarity, energy and innovation of the taktik(z) brand” just as it connects the elements of our logo, it also inspires us to connect with our customers.

When used frequently and consistently over time, our target audiences will recognize this symbol as “taktik(z),” and they will associate it with the excellence our company represents.

The taktik(z) brand is central to the company’s vision and its success. Our brand identity is characterized by quality products, able people and exceptional performance, all united by the taktik(z) logo. As the symbol of our identity, our logo deserves the same care and protection that we provide to any key asset.

These guidelines are to ensure that our logo is attractively and consistently expressed wherever it appears. Departure from these guidelines can result in confusion among the public, loss of customer loyalty and diminished employee pride.

A set of values were developed that encapsulated the personality of the brand. The taktik(z) brand values permeate everything we do.

taktik(z) is:

Refreshing. taktik(z) is straightforward and clear. taktik(z) aims to liberate enterprises from the constraints of yesterday’s technology, providing them with fair, user-friendly products and services, wherever, whenever and however they want to use them.

Honest. taktik(z) is completely transparent with clear communications that cut through market confusion.

Straightforward. taktik(z) makes things easier by using simple language and no jargon.

Innovative. taktik(z) is continually striving to be innovative and dynamic.

Friendly. taktik(z) is a brand that you can trust.

The taktik(z) logo is a key expression of taktik(z) visual identity, instantly recognized by customers, business partners and competitors. The taktik(z) logo is either trademarked or copyrighted, depending on the product or service that is being referenced and may only be reproduced when authorized.

If you wish to use our logo, please send us an email requesting a copy of it. We will send you the version that is correct for the use you intend.
Include the following information:

Your name and your telephone number

Your company or division

The proposed use of the logo

The products or services which will feature or appear with the logo. The logo is intended for use against a white background.

What format you want: EPS; JPG; GIF; other

Your deadline for receiving the logo

usage standard: taktik(z) logo

The taktik(z) logo is our signature and portrays our corporate image worldwide. It should appear in virtually every aspect of our written communications and all image materials including promotional items, marketing literature, direct mail, letterhead, forms and packaging.

The taktik(z) logo is the foundation for the entire corporate identity program. We have gone to great expense to protect and establish a brand name and logo in the marketplace. Inconsistent and improper use of the logo can diminish the effectiveness and compromises the integrity of the corporate identity. To protect and leverage this brand, great care must be taken to follow the graphic standard guidelines for the logo.

While the legal company name or subsidiary must appear on all legal documents such as purchase orders and checks, the full legal name or site location should never appear as part of the corporate logo nor should other organization, location or promotional names be used in close proximity of the logo. This will avoid confusing people and ensure that we are using and portraying a single and consistent image to the marketplace.

clear space around logo

The clear-space guidelines have been devised to make sure that the standard relationship is always placed clear of other graphic elements, text, photography, and so on. It is important to observe these rules since they ensure clear, consistent, and high-quality results.

To create greater visual impact and ensure audience recognition, keep the area around the taktik(z) logo uncluttered. Guidelines for determining this clear space are shown below:

To create greater visual impact and ensure audience recognition, keep the area around the logo uncluttered. To properly stage the logo, a minimum clearance between the logo and other elements must be maintained. The cap width of the T in the logo indicates the measurement of minimum clearance between the logo and other elements on all sides of the logo.

The fonts originally used to create the logo have been modified and converted into artwork. These fonts must not be altered when the logo is reproduced.

The logo must always be used horizontally. Display of the logo tipped on its side or at an angle is prohibited.

When possible, the logo should be reproduced in full color to achieve the intended gradient effect. When this is not possible, one color should be used for both primary elements of the logo. The slogan, when it appears, should remain black (if on a white background), or white (if on a black background).

Other elements should not be overprinted on top of the logo.

The logo should not be enclosed within a box.

The minimum size for reproduction of the logo is one-half inch wide.

The logo must stand alone and may not be combined with any other object, including but not limited to other logos, words, graphics, photos, slogans, numbers, design features, or symbols. The logo must never be used to represent the word “taktik(z)” in text, including in a headline, product-name logotype, or body copy.

taktik(z), in text, should always be in lower case, with no spaces between any of the characters.

The logo must not be incorporated or used in any manner as part of, or in close proximity to another company’s name, domain name, product or service name, logo, trade dress, design, slogan, or other trademarks. The logo must never appear with any other symbol or icon; contained within a box, circle, or other shape; or combined with any other name, logo, or icon to create a co-branded logo.

color variations

Many companies’ symbols are flat, two-dimensional graphic representations printed in a single color.

The taktik(z) corporate symbol has been designed to resemble, as closely as possible, a real three-dimensional object: 3-D letters that boldly stand out against their background.

It is essential that the taktik(z) logo is represented in the most effective and consistent manner possible, across all forms of media, regardless of the printing process used. When using the four-color printing process, the taktik(z) logo may be accurately reproduced in its preferred version. However, when budget constraints mandate one or two-color printing, careful consideration must be given to ensure proper use of the logo.

When printing only in black, use the line art logo in positive or reverse

When printing only in one color other than black use the line art logo in reverse.

When printing in two colors where one of the colors is black, use the grayscale or the line art in positive or reverse.

When printing in two colors where neither of the colors is black, use the line art logo.

When printing in four-color process, use the 4-color logo. Never use the line art logo in a 4-color process printing. The symbol always knocks-out of the background.

the four-color symbol

Different versions of the symbol exist for different purposes. The system is called MineTracer and it enables real time location tracking of miners in mining facilities.

The condition in US mines is quite pathetic as most of them have few or no wireless communications system in place.

This system is expected to pinpoint the location of a miner. It seems companies have learnt from a mine accident in West Virginia which resulted in the death of fourteen miners in 2006.

The system can operate when power is shut off in the mine during emergencies since it may ignite volatile gases. MineTracer comes along with a battery backup which keeps it going even forty eight hours after power is snapped.

RFID to Enhance Safety at Australian Coal Mine — RFID | safety

RFID for On-time Delivery of MRAP — Armor | Defense | MaxxPro | MRAP | Navistar | RFID | RTLS | Survivability | WhereNet | Zebra

<a href="http://taktikz.com/blog/2007/06/29/intelligent-rfid-tag-launched-by-identec-solutions/" rel="bookmark" title="Self-Tracking RFID Tag Launched | This is an intelligent piece of RFID tag from IDENTEC.
